She’s all ready for a dip in the Potomac (as if!) In that tunic she’s more likely to be poolside in Palm Beach.

If you watched Project Runway Season 3, you fell in love with Laura Bennett, who dazzled us with her fabulous designs. Not only did she make it to the final three but she rocked a baby bump with style. She stopped by the “Front Row” event to see the show and to do a reading from her new book ”Didn’t I Feed You Yesterday?” She’s as cute as she can be and was so funny! Clearly, no personal favorites because she is an actual GINGER. Here are a few pics!
Head uptown tonight, well to Bethesda, for our kick off party for the Front Row!!! Best selling, fashion-based author Jill Kargman will join us for a reading and signing of her new novel, Arm Candy. An uproarious tale about searching for love and starting anew on the cusp of forty. And in true Ginger style we will have cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, Georgetown Cupcakes and Suzanne Somersall jewelry trunk show. So much fun under one roof!!

We held our 2nd annual Sakura Spring Jewelry Event @Ginger Bethesda last night. We celebrated Suzanne’s Somersall’s cherry blossom inspired jewelry, enjoyed delicious cupcakes from Fancy Cakes by Leslie and listened to gorgeous Japanese Koto Music played by Miya Aoki. She wore such an AMAZING kimono we had to share this picture with you!! If you missed the event she will be playing again this Saturday from 3 to 6. Please come by!

We’re so excited about the new weekly Farm Market on Bethesda Lane, just outside Ginger Bethesda on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are lots of local vendors selling everything from stinky cheese and lamb (which we hear is to die for) and gorgeous flowers and tomatoes. Oh, and lets not forget the musicians playing on the lane. The Farm Market runs from now through December (brrr…can you imagine?).
Every Wednesday, at Ginger Winter Park, we are having Spotlight on Beauty. Beauty consultant Kimberly Corso is here from noon – 3pm, offering tips and techniques for you to enhance your natural beauty. This week she gave several lucky shoppers Lip Makeovers with tinted Lip Balm, and we all had so much fun. Sarah Batterson from Brite Girl stopped in and got a quick Lip Makeover, just in time for her to interview us for Small Business TV (we’ll keep you posted for the air date).
